Unhappy MB 300 SD Seat Problems

My 300 SD seat is suffering from I've fallen and can't get up. I had my seat switch rebuilted, checked fuses and nothing. I do know that there is a motor in the seat, but before I go there, I would like to know if there is something else that I can check before I take the seat apart.

Thanks In Advance

Wires in doorjamb could have broken and cause shorts. Thats what happened with mine.

YoungBenz,

Real quick, all the wire are self contained in the seat housing area. MB placed wires in the door jamb, that's crazy.

All 11 (I think) of the wires go from the seat switch on the door, through the rubber connector between door and body, down to the floor and back to under the seat.
