temp gauge

temp gauge flucuates from 120 down to 80 depending on whether the vehicle is in motion and the temperature of the day. electric fans intermits with ac on and temp @ 120. thanks for all responses...

Model and year of the car? Some aditional information could be very usefull to help diagnose.

Any coolant leaks?
How old are the thermostat and pressure cap?
Is the fan clutch ok?
Are the aux fans starting to run on high speed at about 105C ?
