You live and drive in NYC correct? I can see brakes being shot at 30k miles.
NYC is brutal on brakes...and cars in general.

If you have a car in NYC you can't worry about the cost.
I wouldn;t do it unless I had deep pockets which I do not Personally they are huge liabilities esp if you can't afford the least $500 a mo to park them in a garage. Where do you find parking do you have alternate do you do the morning get up early to beat the block cross over to theother side race...LOL Wait til it snows & the plows pile you under oooh & the salt ![]() Cars in city ddriving do get beat fast I almost fogot been almost a decade since I escaped to CA Could be the owner had it garaged & took it outof the city on long weekedn drives in the country.

Mercedes figures if you can afford the car then you can afford to pay the exorbitant rates that the dealership charges to fix it. All part of the plan. Dont want to get hosed everytime then learn to fix it yourself or get another car.
