2002 C230K brake pads

I want to try ceramic pads on my car. No one company makes both front and rear pads. Can I mix different manufacturers of these pads-one company's pads on the front , another on the rear? Thank you.

Yes, you can run different compositions front & rear.
If you're really hell-bend on ceramics, go ahead.
I did not like their performance one bit.

I have a 2006 C230 Sport Sedan with about 11,500 miles on it. I was planning on trying the ceramic pads when the time came. How many of you have tried it??

As I hinted in my earlier post, I've tried them once and found they don't work well, unless you get them hot.
The first stop with cold brakes is almost dangerous, as they don't "bite" very well when cold.

Manny,
What brand did you use?

Everyone,
Who else? I'm sure there must be several people who've tried them. I would like to gather several opinions.
