This may not answer your question, but this weekend I found a Euro version 280SE at the junk yard. The emblem on the trunk was missing although the discolored figures remained and I didn't take the time to look on the door post to verify because my attention was on removing the passenger rear view mirror motor.

However when removing the wire harness to the mirror motor I had to unscrew and lift the inner fuse box shelf to unscrew the power lead and the ground wire. When I lifted the shelf(or bank of fuses) to look underneath, I found two more separate fuse housings. They each had a standard "blue" fuse inside.

When I got home I checked my fuse box wandering if I had any fuses I had previously over looked. My model SEC does not.

Just a thought.
