Bowden Cable Nylon Adjuster missing W124

Hi all,

after reading that its possible to adjust the transmission shifting to be late or early, I went to check.

The nylon adjuster is missing on my bowden cable to transmission...

So the cable is very lose and in total slack with no tension.

Can the part be replaced? or any workarounds?
