1983 380 sel - Standard Lug Bolt Shank Length?

I bought an 83 380 sel this summer. It has later, 15 hole 15" wheels mounted with bad spacers, and nearly worn out tires. It also came with 3 14" Bundt wheel in the trunk, number 126 400 21 02 and ET 30. I'm pretty sure these are the originals. I want to return the car to stock, so I plan to buy two more of the Bundts.

My question concerns lug bolt shank length. I didn't get any of the original lug bolts, the ones on the car are 60mm, which I think is too long for the original wheels. Can anyone tell me what the correct shank length should be?

bolomiester, take a look at benzautoparts.com website under "Body Mechanical & Trim" for lugbolt. They sell Febi lugbolts for $3.49 each and have a picture of the lugbolt which should give you a good idea of the length by counting the threads.

You want the 30mm shank. You can do better than 3.49 if you look around.

Great! Just the info I needed.

Thanks for the spec. I found a new set on eBay for a little under $36.00 including shipping.
