Speedometer Noise
Can anyone tell me what is indicated by the "tick, tick, tick" sound of the speedometer on a W123 car at low speeds?

Is the speedometer pointer bouncing off the peg? If so, the bounce is probably due to a binding or stretched cable.

The needle is not bouncing at all, and the cable is new.
