scan tool - reprogram chip ?
first off i have a 88 300se (w126, m103) and was wonder what people are using as the cheapest method to check for codes.. i have no idea if my car is obd I or if its obd II
also is there a way to tune your chip through a laptop ? is there anything for that matter that i can do with a laptop for this car.. monitor, read, re-program |
It's OBD I and no chip tune available, thus, you can't use a computer with it.
|
your thoughts on this ? will it work with any obd-II code reader ?
|
Unless you convert your mostly mechanical Bosch CIS fuel injection system to a true EFI system, then it's pretty much as "tuned" as it's going to be.
