w126 Inner door seal/trim stuff
 

im not sure what you call it really, it the rubber door seal on the inside of the door. it wraps around and is usually covered in a felt material that is the same color as the interior of the car.

The one on my 82 green SD has seen better days, I was wondering how one goes about replacing such a thing..I've not seen too much discussion about anything like it before..

just thought I'd ask..

I priced new ones for my 88 300E at the dealer. Wasn't too bad, something like $65 each for the fronts and $35 each for the rears. I decided not to spend the money and sprayed mine with SEM Color Coat palomino and while not new looking they look about 80% better than they did before.

I was just going to get some fabric paint as you suggested however the fabric on the one is completely shot. Where did you go to price them up at?

I priced them at the local MB dealership, Mercedes Benz of Fort Lauderdale.
