Fluctuating fuel pressure
My 2000 sl500 had 2 codes p0170/p0173
did a search and found to be vac lead or mass air sensor Not that this has anything to do with engine light But My question is during the diagnostic end I checked fuel pressure It was jumping at idle from 56 to 58 lb when I increased speed it stabled out at 58lb My question is this normal jumping pressure at idle and amount of pressure 55,000 Any help would be appreciated Mike

A fluctuation of 2 PSI is nothing to worry about.

Found more information on the fuel filter
Just in case some needs to know It has four fittings on it one from pump through filter and back to pressure relief back to tank That means you change filter better have relief valve in the new one The pressure relief is set at 3.8 bar or around 55 #
