When I turn the key off of my 190E, it responds with three short double beeps. Anyone know what it is telling me other than I turned the key off.

Um where is this signal coming from? I have a Toyota with an aftermarket stereo deck that double beeps 3 times after you turn the car off. It's to remind you to take the removable faceplate off :)

Great guess ... I'll check tonight. It has a Sony radio with a detachable face. Hard to tell where it is comming from. It could be a "stero" beep. The car is new to me and I am in the process of "debugging" all of the little stuff that is totally correct.

My Toyota has a Sony too. I bet that's it!!! The beeps are sent through the front speakers :)

All sony detachable face stereos beep like that.
