86 300e stalls

please HELP
1986 300e starts right up and stall after releasing key
if you hold key and keep starter engaged will stay running.
Fuel is shutting off
dose any one know what is being bypassed when ignition is in the start postion

It's a fuel delivery issue.

replace fuel pump relay,behind battery.

does odo drops to zero IMMEDIATELY when you release the key?

check ovp..first look at fuse...if its ok, pull ovp and shake...if you hear even the slightest rattle... it is shot

That was it borrowed one from other benz and it kepps running now
