87 560 sel strange feeling when letting off

the car is a 87 560 sel while driving at 50 MPH when you lift off the gas and it is coasting on the the road -- it feels as if the brakes are pulsing on and off very slight and when it gets to 40 it seems to almost go away - as if its doing it the same lenght of time no matter how fast or slow -- above 50 it might be their but it is going to fast to feel my guess -- anyone -- no the rotors are fine when stopping at any speed no underlating -- pads are new and rotors look ok nothing jumps out as abmormal looking -- jz

When that car is coasting, the fuel system tries to reduce emissions by making the UPPER & LOWER fuel pressures equal. That basically eliminates injection. That is called De-cel shutoff. Most of the newer cars do that by shutting off injectors electronically.
