Spark Plugs

Hey Guys,

Looking for replacement spark plugs for the discontinued Bosch plug on my 1990 300e, I bought the nkg bp5es. However, the "nut" on this plug is larger that the old Bochs and the socket which fits over the "nut" will not fit in the spark plug well. Has anyone had success installing this plug into the 103 engine?

I think the correct NGK replacement is the BP5EFS. I bought a set of these for my 300E and they seem to fit and run okay. Don't know about the ES plugs. I think they have a different seat as well as hex size so they may or may not fit.

general consensus is BP5EFS

You cant get these in North America.Try ebay.co.uk(be careful though one guy described plugs as BP5EFS and show picture of BP5ES,did you buy from him?) or buy Bosch, there is a sticky at top of this site.
