Hello, I need to buy an expansion tank cap
from FAST LANE (this web site) for
my 1989 300SE. I can choose from
two types:
1.2 BAR
1.4 BAR
Which do I need (regular city driving
mostly)? Maybe either one is O.K. ??

Also, I'd like to change the oil on my
1995 C280. Where is the oil filter
located? Any tips I may need for this
task?

Can't help you with the expansion tank.
But the C280's filter is directly behind the engine block in a black covering. I would do a search, there have been quite a few posts on how to do this.
But it's easy, the new filter just snaps into the plastic covering. GOod luck.

My local MB dealership parts mgrs. told me that the 1.2 cap was standard issue early on. MB later switched to the 1.4 cap. I've been running a 1.4 cap which equates to roughly 20 lbs. It works fine.
