5 speed "clunk" -- any ideas?

Most likely a output flange that is moving on the splines of the output shaft..
MB suggests the USE of "OMNIFIT" on the splines to reduce that noise. |
thanx doc. will pull up my CD and study the area. OMNIFIT ? is that some type of sealant/caulk-type item?
