Programming garage door openner
 

Trying to help my brother program his garage door openner on his 2004 E320. The openner is a Chamberlain Security model with rolling codes. The instructions in the MB manual do not work! A Google search indicated this is a common problem. I have tried some other methods found online with no better luck.

Anyone know what the major disconnect is and how to get this function working?

Had no problems coding mine ( have a Chamberlain with rolling codes as well ).
Did you " teach " the car by holding the syncronizer button on the powerhead ?

I couldn't get the car to clone my Chamberlin remote so I tried using the 'Learn' button to get the Chamberlin to learn the car's remote. It worked!
