COMPARISON wagon E320 vs 300TE
 

Has anyone owned both of these? Of course much will have to do with maintenance of the vehicles. Just trying to get an idea if one is significantly worse or better than the other. thanks in advance...

What model years are you comparing.

I have a 1989 300TE that has been bullet-proof.

I have a 1998 E320 sedan that has also been bullet-proof and gets great gas mileage to boot.

I also own a 2002 C320 wagon. My daughter drives it and she likes it very much. As a thing-hauler, however, it is on the small side.

I love my 88 300TE Wagon. Once I have my misfire solved it will be absolutely beautiful to drive.

I've had an '88 300TE and a 2001 E320S.

They're both fine, but the '01 sure is bigger and has an order of magnitude better transmission.

I believe in "the newer the better" - for me, it would be a no-brainer to get the 1995. Better looks, newer parts, great car.

The E has an improved engine that has a head gasket and an engine wiring harness that need replacing. Check to see it these have been done.
It has a different radio and exterior body improvements. Otherwise, pretty much the same. I had a '94 and loved it until my daughter talked me into taking her '99 wagon, which I really like also.
All in all, if the '95 is in as good condition as your present wagon, the engine work has been done and the price is right, go for it.
