W124 Hood swap question
I have a 1993 W124 wagon and a 1995 one. The 94 and 95 model years have lots of slight variances like in rear brakes. The other is the area around the front grill. My 1995 wagon got some damage in the front which affected the headlight, grill and hood. I know all three of those are different for the 94 and 95 model years from prior years.
Since hoods are challenging at best to find in the midwest, if I were to use pre-1994 hood, lights, and grill on the 1995 body would it all fit or would there be other fitment issues to chase down too. Anyone tried it? The damage to the 1995 makes it hard for me to just measure and I'd like to avoid taking parts off the 93 just to check the fit since I'd just have to put them back when done as the 93 isn't a parts car.

I've not done this but believe it would work. There may be some electrical mods for the lighting so grab the harnesses from the '93. It is a common mod to swap '95 parts to '93 earlier for the appearance.
Good luck!!!

The fenders are the same early vs. late, so I would second Sugar Bear's thoughts.
Good luck and let us know how you make out. Best Regards, Rob
