Help!
Hi,
I have a 2002 ML 500. I have had it since new. I have about 28K miles. I just noticed that the passenger floor in the front is wet. It is on the flat part of the floor and not going up the toe kick. It seems to be wetter closer to the kickpanel and the door. It is starting to smell musty inside. Any ideas where to look would be appreciated. Thank You |

Tees, check that the drains on either side of the windshield and the sunroof drains are clear. Also, check that the rubber seals on the front passenger door are intact.

Clogged evaporator drains are the number one cause for water issues in ML's. Thankfully, they're easy to check and clean. Just look up under the dash on the passengers' side and you'll see it. Just disconnect the rubber hose from the evaporator housing. No tools required. Make sure you've got a bath towel handy.
