A little slow to start when cold
 

My '87 300e gas engine is taking a little more time to start these days. I'm probably being anal about this but thought I'd throw it out and see if anyone had suggestions that might help.

I just had the fuel distributor replaced and asked the shop about the slow starts. They did a leak down test of the fuel system and it tested good. My tech suggested that the injectors may need replaced. Could this be a symptom of a bad cold injector?

Once it starts it runs great, cold or hot.

Wife told me car was real hard to start this morning, but once started ran fine. This is starting to make me worried.

this prob has more to do with how the fuel was adjusted[which was necessary]after the fuel distrib was changed.there is one other thing that is often overlooked,the ovp relay[which can cause the main computer to not have power and the car starts in limp home mode[which is too lean].

I'd been having problems with the fuel distributor since March or April but the thing that finally motivated me to finally get around to changing it was the hard starting. So the problem was actually there before my shop set up the fuel system which would lead me to the ovp relay. Dave, I'm not familiar with that relay. Where is it located and is there a way to test it?
