W126 300sel tranny oil cooler
1988 w126 300sel
Drained the Oil pan and torque converter ATF and wondering if there is any other part or area that holds ATF that can be drained. There is a hose that many identify as the transmission oil cooler line. Does this line carry Transmission fluid? If so, is this the line that is coil wrapped and runs under the radiator? |

correct-the coil wrapped hoses are the trans cooler lines. pulling them off won't get much fluid. good luck, chuck.

trans oil cooler line part#s
Does anyone happen to have the part numbers for the trans oil cooler lines?
I noticed some oil residue on one of the lines. Time to replace |

Some members (including me) have repaired the lines by cutting the swages off and using replacement ATF cooler hose from local shops and using pipe clamps on them. The lines are not under high pressure.
