I just purchased a E420 (1995), and the ASR / Check Engine lights both came on after the car was hot
I'm thinking it's the ETA issue, as the car has 185K miles. Please suggest comments about rebuilt vs new ETA's Does FastLane sell ETA's or is this a dealer only item. Then there are the rebuild options. Found some references to Jaytan Industries, Inc. Do you have experience with them - are they to be trusted. K6JRF has a great article describing the same symptoms I have http://pages.prodigy.net/jforgione/MB_asr.html Summary: Are rebuilt ETA worth the savings, or should I just buy a new one - and where should I buy it? Many thanks.
