300E Sat for 2 months no crank

Havent driven the car for awhile. Went to start it, now no crank. Tried jumpstarting it, still no crank. Interstate battery is reasonably new as well is the alternator. Any help is much appreciated.

yeah the headlights and all the accessories work.

Turn the key to Start position w/headlamps ON and see if they go out, dim, or stay bright..[ may need a helper or a reflective wall....

Try moving the lever from P to N then try starting it

You don't state where you are, but on my '86 in the winter here in NM (yes, it gets quite cold in NM) it will not crank in "Park", but will do fine in "Neutral". Give it a try.
