Alarm Problem

I have a 2002 S430 that has developed a alarm system problem. The system triggers an alarm for no apparent reason every five to ten mintes.
When this started two days ago it was several hours between alarms. I
would like to know if anyone can offer some advise to help. Thanks in advance.

Reading codes from the ATA system should reveal the problem.

MANY times the problem is the alarm SIREN itself. The self-contained "battery" (in the siren) is a common problem.
