1989 300E Fuel Pump Relay

My engine cut out yesterday while driving and I was lucky enough to stop in a parking lot where I could leave the car overnite. I researched the threads and need some help in testing the fuel pump relay which is a KAE brand. I read that 87 and 30 are the relayed points? What does that mean and how do I test this continuity? Any help would be appreciated
