Seat swap, 126, drivers/passengers....
I am in the middle of swapping out my drivers seat for my passenger seat. and this is what I have found so far. My car has memory seat only on the drivers side.(more on this later).
1. I found that by removing the 4 bolts holding the frame to the floor on the passenger seat helps immensely. I had already removed the seat backs to check the motors in each seat. These will have to be removed and replaced in the seat backs in my car per the memory being only on the drivers seat if I decide to switch out the whole seat. 2. I left the seat connected to the controls so I could move the assy forward and aft to remove the 6 Phillips head screws from the frame and the seat pan. they are found at each end of the slide and one in the middle with an access hole in the frame, that, by operating the slide one can position the access hole over the center Phillips head screw. Cool no need to remove and replace the frame motors. 3. One could now just remove the seat bottoms(if the backs are in good condition). In any event, you have to remove the nut,(mine secured the seat belt latch with a clip) that holds the seatbelt latch frame and move it to the other side(front bottom back base nuts). You do this so you end up with the seatbelt catch on the right side of the drivers seat and the left side of the passenger seat. I may just change out the seat bottoms instead of the whole seats as my backs are fine or at least good. (that'll save swapping out the motors in the backs of the seats). That will for sure be the easy way out and the quickest now that the passenger seat is out. I'll add more when I finish the job. hard to do the swap when you have to drive the car in a couple hours. Save for a stubborn 10MM bolt in the floorboard(it was rounded off by someone previously) an easy out fixed that in a hurry, the whole process has taken less than a couple hours and the drivers seat will be a lot quicker since I have this one under my belt. ![]()

Yeah I bet, but I didn't have a camera with me when I was doing the passenger side seat, but I'll see what I can do with the drivers side. I was trying to get this swapped out this afternoon and I didn't make it. I didn't take time to take pictures. It is pretty straight forward.
I will take some pictures to add to this post though.
