Oh I know it won't work for my 84's. I have those cars so I wouldn't need any weird diagnostic tools.

It's not a "joke" but a home-brew (h/b) tool for reading DTCs stored in MB cars. A very handy tool to have for the later model MBs.
As Texholdem said, there's a sch and parts list in MENU#2 that shows what you need to build one. Nice tool to find out a direction to go when t/s your car's problems. |

I just built one and that fellows price is not bad....the ones on ebay are 2X that price.
