190E 1984 Fuel pump runs with key off

I own a 1984 190E, 2.3 The feul pump continues to run even when the key is turned off.. It burned out the relay, which I replaced.. But I still have the same problem.. Any ideas where to look? New pump, new filter.. new relay..

A sticking relay would be my first diagnosis.!

OTHER than that melted wiring???
