Well my worst fear has finally come true... my kickdown has broken. For the past week or so it has not been clicking properly or at all, but still shifting atleast. Today I went to floor it and it would not shift down! Once I got to my destination, I noticed the black plastic peice had fallen off.... so I put it back on, but it would not stay. That is why it is temporarily Scotch taped on (desperate, I know). Is working ok for the time being though, albeit lack of resistance/pressure at kickdown.
Anyway, I have the part number for a new kickdown switch ($28), does anyone know how easy it is to change? Thanks. (I don't think it broke because of real over use, but because sometimes I just jam on it with all my force!)
