Hello, hope someone can help. Just bought a 1986 190 16v with 72,000 miles. It has a small problem. At times is hard to start have to try cranking several times before it starts. When it starts it appears as if the engine was flooded. Also, when the engine warms up it will idle up and down from say, 900rpm to 1100rpm it will not idle steady. One more thing, when shiftig gears, the rpm's seem to float a little before the engine rpm's come down. Could all this be related to the same problem.? Some one suggested a faulty (leaking) fuel injection regulator, causing the above symptoms. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
