lower control arm bolts
i am installing lower control arms on my 1999 e320 w210 mercedes.
ever thing was going good until i tried to remove the front bolt, when i get it almost out it hits something near the bottom raidator hose, it still likes about 1 inch before the arm will drop out . i have searched the internet forums to no avail. no one seems to have had this problem before, if anyone can help,i would appreciate it. tks ![]() Last edited by ahamtw; 10-28-2014 at 10:47 AM. |

I don't have my W210 anymore, but as far as I recall the front bolt can be removed with the radiator hose pushed out of the way. On the other side, you may have to turn the steering wheel to clear the tie rod.

If the radiator support is pushed back it will exaccerbate the problem. If its not hanging straight down bend it forward to gain some room.
