i was just wondering if the ignition timing for the 190e 2.3 {us}88 model be adjusted manualy? if so. how is it done step by step, to what number of degree, where could i find the timing mark at the cranckshaft pully. the reason for asking is that i would just like to put the car in it's tip top condition. thanks.:o |

Actually, it's probably adjustable with reference resistor. While you may not have the dial as it applies to euro vehicles in general, you might still have a connector with resistance plug on it. Different resistance values control the timing. This info applies to 6 cyl motors but I imagine it's the same for a 4. The second attachment shows the USA version.
