hi.. whats the difference from a 1992 300se /1992 400se/ 1992 500se this old laddy has a 1992 s class mercedes she wants to sell me but i cant tell what model it is, but its a v8 for sure thanks for your help.

It should be in the VIN - 6th and 7th digits in the U.S. - either a 32, 42 or 50. In the U.S. there is no 500SE, short wheel base, only 500SELs, which are 51s.
