License Plate Bulb
 

I am trying to change the license plate light bulb in the 99 E430. I have already removed the 3 screws that are holding plastic piece. How do I remove the bulb cover? I have try to pry open, but it is too TIGHT.

Please shed some light on the license plate bulb issue. I feel embrassed to ask this question, but the owner manual doesn't mention it.

I'm having the exact same problem. Did you ever get an answer to your question about how to remove the license plate bulb clear plastic cover ? The one on my 99 E-Class is really tight and I don't want to break it getting it out.
