1982 380sl blower motor stopped working
i have a 1982 380sl in which my blower motor stopped working the fuses all look good could it be a resistor or relay and if so where are they located
driverdan02@yahoo.com thanks danny |
Not likely, probably the motor itself on a 107. At least it is easy to get to. Do check it by pressing the defrost button though

Hard to believe, but this can be a problem with the ignition switch. Jiggle the key (with engine on) while operating the HVAC where the blower motor would be expected to be ON and see if it becomes intermittent.

Actually quite common...specially when you see them with everything but the kitchen sink hanging on the key chain....:) |
Quick Check..
Does the blower turn on when you press DEF? If so then you've got a vacuum leak.

My wife's keyring also does double-duty as a self-defense weapon, kind of like a middle-ages mace. Needless to say, she doesn't put that wad o' keys in MY car... |
I was going to mention it as being a gender previlent problem, but wanted to stay politically correct..
..but now that the cats out, yeah, it's a wifie thing. [ mine , anyway] |
