Does anyone know where i check the power steering fluid at?

* The power steering reservoir is near the left (driver's side) front of the motor, just in front of the intake manifold. The dipstick is part of the filler cap.
* If you're going to do some of the maintenance on your own car, let me share a point of view with you. The most important tool you can ever have in your toolbox is information. That goes for simple things like this or for more involved problems. Respect information. Put it first on your tool list.
* Unfortunately a forum dialogue can only do so much. So, if you don't have an owner's manual, get one (should even be able to find a used one). The public library has AllData as a reference. You can use it for free there. Or buy your own AllData DIY subscription for $25/yr/car. Then of course there's the MB DVD for the W201. More money but it's a good information source.
* Didn't mean to lecture but I sometimes get the impression that many people think that working on machinery ought to be obvious. It's not. Just like cooking, sewing or solving equations. It takes information.
