Does anyone out there have a GOOD picture of the suspension lines. We went in to "repair" a line that has a tiny hole in it & the line turned out to be only about 14" long (running from the valve to the accumulater on drivers side). So I just decided to buy a new one & do it right. However, when I got pictures from Mercedes, I cannot tell which line I need to order (even standing at the parts counter at MB with the line in my hands & they didn't know). Is this a line I need to bend myself? The line they show looks nothing like what I pulled off my car. Also, this line has inside of it another line (like a thick wire) running through it? I was wondering what the purpose of this is?
Thanks for the help! |

I'm looking at EPC online. Looks like 80 is the pax side shock line, 83 is the driver's side shock line, 56 is the line to the pax accumulator, and 53 is the line to the driver's accumulator. The banjo bolts are 86, and the copper washers are 89. It's pretty clear in the pic to me.
I would get new washers too, minimally. I have no idea how, or even if you can, post a pic of the diagram here. can't figure it out. Check out the online EPC. It's a free service of MB. Search this site for the link to the sign up page. EDIT - here's the website - http://epc.startekinfo.com/epc/home.jsp
