Tandem PS pump from MBPumps
 

I need a replacement tandem power steering pump for my 91 300TE. The hydraulic pump component is not pumping hydraulic fluid anymore.

A used one from PGA is $150. A new one is $700-800.

A group in Las Vegas called MBPumps sells a rebuild one for $200, with a $150 core charge. He will send it COD, and I return mine to them.

Anybody dealt with MBPumps?

Can you buy a repair kit and fix it yourself? Could be as simple as shaft seal and some o-rings.

Yes. Absolutely the best prices on rebuilt MB pumps. I've had mine for about a year without any problems. Quickly refunded my money for the core. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again(hopefully I won't have too though).

There is a kit out there from many sources to replace the seals and O rings in the dedicated hydraulic pump, but not for the Vickers tandem pump, MB part 124 460 15 80.

I'm going to google "Vickers" ans see what comes up.
