timing for 70 MB250 w/114 engine A/T

I'm starting to get some where with my problem with the great advise I'm getting. So for my Hayne's manual has been out to lunch. My 250 is now running w/Bosch W8DC plugs set @ .028" gap, the dist. points are set @ .017" gap. If someone could advise on the right timing @ what RPM and with what vacuum hoses disconnected etc. The car has an automatic transmission. Thanks in advance. Bob
