Fuel Filter Seal Ring Part #s
 

Hi All -

I am finally getting around to changing the fool filter in the 1993 300E 2.8. I have had the part (Mahle) on the shelf for a couple of months. Opened the box and no copper seal rings are included.

Does anyone know the part numbers and number of pieces required?

Replaced mine over the weekend, had the same problem in looking for the seal ring / washer so instead of waiting for the coming week, made use of the old one which came with the old filter.. Asked last monday about it and the parts store said that they didnt have a part number for it but they have plenty lying around and asked if i wanted to pass by and get it.. everything is working fine so nevermind..

You'll need two of those copper seal rings, M-B dealer part# N.007603.012110 or if you buy your parts online search for part# A8092-12361.

If you have a large auto parts store in your area that sells Dorman Fasteners, search for copper washers with these dimensions: 12 X 17 X 1.5 mm (I.D. x O.D. x thickness)
