front sway bar bushing part numbers? (w124)

OK I had one of my sway bar bushings disintegrate. so now the bar clunks against the bracket. I believe it is the "inner" bushing - the one with the drop down bracket NOT the one out at the wheel.

The part I got from the dealer is labeled 124 323 50 85 (dealer charged $11)

I can't find that part number anywhere in a web search. I do find 124 323 56 85 as I believe the inner bushing (at the wheel) and perhaps 124 323 49 85 as the outer? they seem to go for about 3-5$ via web - parts search here turns up a "Sorry, this product is temporarily unavailable, click here to request a quote." with no reference to inner or outer.

The car is a 1992 400E
Can someone confirm what part numbers to get?

I figure I can kludge the one I have at the moment to stop the metal to metal contact (if needed I can slice it so it can wrap around the bar as a temp solution) but given one disintegrated they should all be replaced.

Thanks
Paul

Thanks

I assume the 124 323 56 85 part is the drop down bracket at the frame. I also believe it has a larger dia hole as I measured the 50 85 one it is about 22mm which roughly matches the end dia of the bar while the inner (frame) dia is about 27mm

Thanks again

I happen to have a set of new '85s as paperweights on my desk. PM me if you need them. I promise I won't charge $11 each. They are the outers.

this is kinda off topic, but what is the part number of the sway bar?
and has anyone ever had the end retainer (near the upper control arm)fail on them?

and does anyone know any comparisons between different models on that?

i put a sway bar from a CD into my TD and now it looks like it has rickets on the front two wheels (its actually kinda funny to see)

thanks
Dan
