1903 16 valve ignition module testing
 

Is there a bench test for the ICM once taken off the car. What are the resistance values for the terminals. Are they interchangeable with other 190's with the ezl ignition. The one from my car was made by Siemens. All others I see are made by Bosch but it looks exactly the same.

Possibly an electronics specialist could make tests... but I have never seen those type of figures.

We always test the inputs & if they're correct & still no dwell signal to the coil...bad EZL.

Can any 16 valve 190 owners take a look at their ICM module on front driver side fender and read me the Bosch part number. Give the upper and lower numbers.
It should read something like

Upper 0 227 400 642
Lower 004 545 57 32 For Bosch
