92-93 300ce gas. customer had car towed in with possible blow head gasket, coolant out the tailpipe. there is no decal under hood about what engine is in it. it looks like dual overhead 6cyl non/turbo. the car came from europe. it has a metal id tag on radiator suport with these numbers 124c abe e499/1 ] i have vin# if needed. thank you jackb

It should be the M104 engine. You can run the VIN at http://old.mbclub.ru/mb/vin/view.html and see what engine it was sold with
12 valves/I6 cylinder = M103, 24 valves/I6 =m104.

Need correct year.
If it is a '92, it is 104.980 with Rotor/Cap ignition
'93, it is 104.992 w/DIS Distributorless ignition

You will see No coil or cap on a '93
