722.408 to 722.400 swap?
Hi just picked up a 92 190e 2.3 with a 722.408 that I suspect has issues with the forward clutch pack. I have a 722.400 from a '84 190e that is good. I should be able to use the 722.400 - correct?

The 722.400 will work with a few of the parts exchanged between the two.

Thanks for the reply! I know the modulator would be one, the valve body possibly, to swap over, but what else would be needed to swap? Or will it be glaring obvious once I pull the 722.408 out of the '92?

Most likely the control pressure cable & the output flange.
