New Rear Suspension Links Torque Spec?
this is in regards to my W201 190E 2.6
i am reading in the EPC and it says to take note of the new torque specs on the updated links and bolts. i bought the entire set of brand new links and I need to know the new torque specs. also what are the sizes of the internal drive sockets used on these bolts? one more question, i also got the new subframe bushings, and the rear subframe bushing uses a new bolt. it has 6 points on it, not sure what size or tool to use on this. any help? |

Those are either 10 or 12mm Triple Squares or 12-point Torx, whichever you prefer.
I don't know torque spec off hand but for those I just use the standard German torque spec- Gutentight

i found the tools for them, thanks!
still haevnt found the torque specs, so I torqued everything down to old specs. 70Nm on the subframe, and 30Nm at the hubs. i reinstalled everything, but now i hvae a gigantic fender gap in my rear. was I supposed to torque these down when the suspension is fully loaded? |
