REplacing overflow coolant bottle 89 300E
This has got to be simple, however I wanted to ask before I try replacing the coolant recovery bottle on my 1989 300E. It developed a crack and will not hold washer fluid, so time to break down and replace it.
I know this is not rocket sicence, but can some one give me some simple instructions . Much appreciated: Bob Geco |
get a turkey baster or evacuator pump - pull the coolant out of the bottle - remove low coolant sensor, remover hoses, remove bottle > reverse with the new one

Which one is cracked, the washer fluid or the engine coolant container? Two different animals....but both easy to replace. Finding a good used one might be harder, but we don't know which it is?
