1991 300SL, R129, 5 Speed, What problems did these cas have if any?

I am interested in buying a 1991 300SL, R129 with a 5 speed, I know nothing about this model. What I would like to know is there any major issues with this car I need to know about.

The car has 85,000 miles on it and is in near mint condition.

Hydraulic top problems have plauged the R129 chassis.

The M104.98_series is a bit weak for that 4000+ lb car.

I always liked the manual trans SL's
