Strange Ticking Sound When Accelerating
I hear a strange ticking sound when pressing on the accelerator pedal and wonder what may be the problem. Could the expert in this forum please give me some advices. Thank you!!

What type of gas are you using?
Does it increase with vehicle speed, or with the pressing of the pedal? |
I am not the expert, but it will help the expert if you are more clear on the sound. Also what year is the car?
Is the sound like something rattling in a metal can? Or is it like a clock ticking? |
Sorry! I forgot to specify that the car is a 2002 E320 AV.
It sounds like clock ticking and ticking faster when accelerate further. Thank you all for replying!! |
